Revolut Whips Up an Appetite With London’s Most Popular Restaurants

To celebrate the restrictions lifting, the digital challenger bank Revolut has partnered with some of the most popular restaurants in the capital city.  Offering discerning diners up to 30% cashback as soon as they pay the bill, the brand is giving its customers the chance to experience some of the most on trend restaurants across London, for less. From the city’s best roof tops including Madison, Sky Garden and Radio Rooftop and the best places for meat eaters like Hawksmoor and Five Guys, to popular haunts Sushi Samba and Zuma, and the famous Made in Chelsea hangout, The Bluebird.

The customer focused reward scheme, Restaurant Rewards, is part of Revolut’s wider ambition to become the go-to app for getting more out of life – expanding on its existing leading industry travel benefits and money saving features. With Restaurant Rewards 30% cashback, people can embrace eating out again and save on some of the city’s most delectable dishes and everyday treats. From enjoying a saving of £22.50* on a 300g Rib Eye, beef dripping chips and a bottle of spicy, plummy Chateauneuf-du-Pape at Flat Iron, to getting your weekend carb load the with a Double Patriot and fries meal for £12.60 instead of £18.00*. It can also save coffee lovers £98.14* a year on daily flat whites from Pret. Whether it’s Instagrammable eateries like EL & N or a taste of Thailand at Smoking Goat, Revolut has considered all options to tickle people’s tastebuds.

Customers can simply select from over 600 restaurants, pubs, bars and coffee shops in London via the Revolut Rewards feature on its app and pay the bill as follows:

  1. Open Revolut Rewards on the app

  2. Select the pub, restaurant or coffee shop

  3. Before paying, tap to activate the Reward and pay with a Revolut card

  4. Customers will receive cashback into their Revolut account in just a few seconds

Customers can also opt to split the bill with their friends using the popular Revolut feature that allows them to divide an expense with their Revolut contacts and receive money back easily and quickly.

The announcement follows the launch of Revolut’s latest in-app feature – Stays – a first of its kind accommodation booking service that gives customers 10% cashback on each booking via the Revolut app. Adding on top of zero commission abroad and the best exchange rates, Revolut strengthens its travel offering by giving its customers another opportunity to further manage their money without having to leave the app.

Mikael Peydayesh, Lead Product Owner at Revolut, said: “At Revolut we are all about giving our customers more. We know how challenging lockdown has been for the nation and so we wanted to create an easy way to allow our customers to get more from their money while celebrating the return to normal life.”

“We launched Revolut Rewards last year and since then we’ve been enriching it with new partners and tools, to make it more convenient, useful and enjoyable for our customers. We are also very proud to support the restaurant industry – from independent businesses to bigger chains – after a very difficult year. So, why not raise a glass and make a toast in one of the restaurants available with Revolut’s Restaurant Rewards and get cashback instantly after paying the bill – take a break, without breaking the bank.”

Revolut will be rolling out Restaurant Rewards across the whole of the UK in 2020, as well as across major cities in Europe.
